Join the USC Schwarzenegger Institute for an overview of the current state of partisan gerrymandering in the United States.

The event will begin with opening remarks from Academic Director Christian Grose and then will move to a briefing on the new redistricting cycle by journalist and Unrigged: How Americans Are Battling Back to Save Democracy author David Daley. 

In addition to the briefing, Director of the Election Law Clinic at Harvard Law School Ruth Greenwood and Executive Director of the League of Women Voters Jen Miller will be joining the conversation to discuss what this new landscape means for a variety of states.

This overview comes in the wake of states across the country redrawing legislative districts, which will determine who is chosen as our country's leaders. The webinar will focus on what is happening in the states and the good, the bad, and the ugly of gerrymandering in 2022.
