 rth Korea run high\, the proliferation of nuclear weapons and how U.S. pol
 icy should respond are pressing issues. Dr. Robert L. Gallucci\, the chief
  U.S. negotiator during the 1994 North Korean nuclear crisis and former pr
 esident of the MacArthur Foundation will provide insights and unpack reali
 ty from rhetoric.\n\nAbout Dr. Robert Gallucci\n\nAmbassador Robert L. Gal
 lucci is the Chairman at the US-Korea Institute and a distinguished Profes
 sor in the Practice of Diplomacy at Georgetown University. Previously he w
 as Director of the Kluge Center at the Library of Congress\, President of 
 the MacArthur Foundation and Dean of the School of Foreign Service at Geor
 getown University. This followed 21 years of government service\, which in
 cluded Assistant Secretary of State for Political-Military Affairs and Amb
 assador at Large. He received his Ph.D. and M.A. from Brandeis University 
 and B.A. from State University of New York at Stony Brook.
