Nonprofit Research Seminar Series – Spring 2019
Hosted by The USC Center on Philanthropy and Public Policy

Lise Vesterlund
Andrew W. Mellon Professor of Economics
University of Pittsburgh

Research on charitable giving centers either on identifying motives for giving or on examining the effectiveness of various fundraising tools.  The talk will review results from these two lines of research and will demonstrate that there are substantial returns from merging the two.  A campaign that selects fundraising tools absent consideration of donor motives will fail to reach its potential

Kindly RSVP to by Thursday, February 21st.
