About this Event
Interested in healthcare, public health, medicine, or social services? Join our National Health Corps Prospective Member Information Session on Thursday, January 30th at 4:00PM Pacific Time.
The Prospective Member Information Session discusses multiple program components. Current members and NHC alumni also join to discuss their experiences as AmeriCorps members. Finally, the recruitment process is discussed towards the end of the session.
The Information Session includes information on all NHC Public Health Leadership Program Locations (Central California, Florida, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh (PA), and San Francisco).
National Health Corps is an AmeriCorps Program. Members are placed in community clinics, non-profit organizations, and health departments to provide essential services to historically marginalized communities. Members serve for 46 weeks and complete 1700 hours of service. Many alumni have gone on to graduate school, medical school, and healthcare professions.
An NHC San Francisco Q&A Session, led by current NHC San Francisco Members, will be held in the Spring.
Thank you!
