About this Event
This event is not sponsored or endorsed by USC or the Office of Research.
This workshop session will examine the impact on undergraduate and graduate students of campus closures and moving learning online. The session will explore what we know about student reactions; differential effects on students from different races, ethnicities, and backgrounds; considerations for providing quality online learning experiences; and impacts of the pandemic on students’ ability to continue STEM studies. The session will share strategies and lessons learned from a breadth of institutional types and for a range of student populations (from community college to graduate students) and explore research questions that could help us better prepare for the future.
This program is open to all eligible individuals. USC operates all of its programs and activities consistent with the university’s Notice of Non-Discrimination. Eligibility is not determined based on race, sex, ethnicity, sexual orientation or any other prohibited factor.
