MLK in Los Angeles reveals how important Dr. King’s work on the West Coast was during the civil rights movement.
The exhibition was organized by the USC Center for Black Culture and Student Affairs, the USC President’s Office, and the USC Fisher Museum of Art.
The exhibition was curated by students Endiya Griffin, B.A. Visual Anthropology, Kymia Freeman, B.A. Public Relations, and Sasha Lawrence, B.A. Psychology. Designed by Nicolette Peji out of the USC Roski School of Art and Design. These student leaders aim to honor the impact and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. as a civil rights leader in Los Angeles and beyond.
