https://mindfulusc.captyn.com/find/cm5yth24q00mon81df7aezmayOpen to anyone inspired by practicing mindfulness in harmony with the natural world, this program invites participants to deepen their connection with the Earth while nurturing their well-being. Through four sessions – which can be taken individually or as a series – we’ll engage in mindful practices that cultivate presence, empathy, and earth-inspired creativity. Each session draws inspiration from the natural elements of our campus, blending mindfulness with experiences that foster a meaningful relationship with the Earth. Sessions include a warm welcome, grounding exercises, guided practices, and reflective discussions, all designed to help participants connect more deeply with themselves and the natural world.
Session 3: Creating Nature Mosaics
Date: Mar 4, 2025 | Time: 1–2 PM | Location: Queen’s Courtyard Fountain
“The earth is a mosaic.” ~Lawren Leo
We’ll honor the interconnectedness of life and the beauty of the Earth by gathering small natural treasures—leaves, pebbles, and flowers—from a grove on campus and together arranging them into beautiful mosaics. This mindful practice cultivates presence, fosters connection, and celebrates the harmony and diversity of nature, while enriching the beauty of our shared space. Questions?
