Open to anyone inspired by practicing mindfulness in harmony with the natural world, this program invites participants to deepen their connection with the Earth while nurturing their well-being. Through four sessions – which can be taken individually or as a series – we’ll engage in mindful practices that cultivate presence, empathy, and earth-inspired creativity. Each session draws inspiration from the natural elements of our campus, blending mindfulness with experiences that foster a meaningful relationship with the Earth. Sessions include a warm welcome, grounding exercises, guided practices, and reflective discussions, all designed to help participants connect more deeply with themselves and the natural world.

Let the Earth be your teacher this spring. 🌿

Session 1: Breathing with Trees

Date: Feb 19, 2025 | Time: 1–2 PM | Location: Queen’s Courtyard Fountain

"When you breathe with a tree, you become a part of its quiet presence. Together, you share the same breath of life." ~Thích Nhất Hạnh

Connect with the wisdom of trees through breath and presence. Sync your breath with the rhythm of a tree, feeling the flow of life-giving energy between yourself and the natural world. Deepen this connection by “befriending” a tree—exploring its uniqueness through journaling or sketching, fostering curiosity and appreciation.
