In celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, the USC Asian Pacific Islander Faculty and Staff Association (APIFSA), in partnership with the USC Libraries and the USC East Asian Studies Center, invite guests to a virtual screening of Minari on Tuesday, May 4th.

Minari follows a Korean-American family that moves to an Arkansas farm in search of their own ‘American Dream’ and the changes brought on by the arrival of their sly, foul-mouthed, but incredibly loving grandmother. It won the Grand Jury Prize at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival, 2021 Golden Globe Award for the Best Foreign Language Film, 2021 Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor (Youn Yuh-jung), 2021 BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role (Youn Yuh-jung) and the 2021 Critics’ Choice Movie Award for Best Young Performer (Alan S. Kim).

We thank you for your support for APIFSA and for all that you do to uplift the USC API community.
