As part of the Undergraduate Program's Signature Academic Events, Micro-Seminars are designed for incoming first-year students to meet faculty in an informal setting and engage in an academic environment before regular classes begin. Attendance for most seminars is limited to 20 students to ensure thoughtful discussion and the opportunity to meet peers with similar interests. More than 50 topics are being offered from various schools and departments across campus.

Micro-Seminars occur over two days (August 6 and 7), and participants must be able to attend both sessions.  This event is a continuation of Session 1 on August 6.

This program is open to all eligible individuals. USC operates all of its programs and activities consistent with the university’s Notice of Non-Discrimination. Eligibility is not determined based on race, sex, ethnicity, sexual orientation or any other prohibited factor.

Very interesting and relevant material. It got me really excited to start brainstorming what kind of policy I want to focus on.

Dr.Narayanan continued to explain about single processing and moves into Hollywood and how technology plays a huge role in movies as well. It was very interesting.

Engaging and easy to understand
