Virtual Event

As part of the Undergraduate Program's Signature Academic Events, Micro-Seminars is designed for incoming first-year students to meet faculty in an informal setting and engage in an academic environment before regular classes begin. Attendance for most seminars is limited to 20 students to ensure thoughtful discussion and the opportunity to meet peers with similar interests. More than 50 topics are being offered from various schools and departments across campus.

Micro-Seminars occur over two days (August 6 and 7), and participants must be able to attend both sessions.

This event is open to all incoming first-year undergraduate students. Participants must register for a Micro-Seminar through the Event Website.
