Laura Cornejo is the Deputy Executive Officer (DEO) of Countywide Planning for the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro). Under her leadership, Metro’s Active Transportation program has grown significantly, including the launch of a countywide bike share program, the first in North America to be integrated with transit. Recently, Laura returned to the Transit Corridor unit where she oversees a number of Measure M funded planning efforts to expand Metro’s rail network.
