Ms. Etta Wong is currently the Director of the USC Hong Kong International Office, Office of Strategic and Global Initiatives. She is a seasoned coach and education administrator with over 20 years of experience. Before joining USC, she was the Head of Student Development, MBA Programs at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), where the MBA program was ranked #6 globally.

Before her career life as an educator, at the time she worked as the Managing Director at Lee Hecht Harrison (LHH), she led consulting projects on career transition, talent development, and coaching services with Fortune 500 companies.

Etta has been broadly supporting students and young professionals from different nationalities, backgrounds, and cultures. She recently completed the Teaching and Learning Studio program at Stanford's d.school and is a certified coach from Designing Your Life. She speaks native Cantonese and is fluent in English and Mandarin.

Mentoring and coaching are incredibly similar concepts. In this session, Etta will go through some essential coaching techniques that help mentors and mentees establish a more engaging and trusted relationship.

The session is highly interactive with group discussion and practice.
