This is a non-evaluative session for physics and other STEM students (master’s, PhD, post-doc) with quantum computing experience, graduating in 2024-2026. If you have a physics or other STEM academic background, come see what it’s like to work in management consulting at a half-day workshop this spring, with opportunities to engage further after the program. The Quantum Computing x Sustainability workshop will highlight the exciting work at McKinsey and how your unique skillset can be applied to solve some of the most pressing challenges in the world today. You will work alongside consultants at the Firm to solve a case with business and environmental implications by leveraging one of the most exciting emerging technologies of our time—quantum computing. This virtual program consists of a half-day workshop, offering an insider look into management consulting and the ways in which participants with physics and other STEM academic backgrounds can apply their knowledge and skillsets.
