Our colleagues are affiliated with over 30 functional and industry practices. Affiliation to a practice tends to happen over time at our Firm, but there are currently 7 practices that hire directly from campus: Operations, Growth Marketing & Sales, Digital & Analytics, McKinsey Transformation, Private Equity, Strategy & Corporate Finance, and Risk & Resilience. Please note some of these require a level of experience in the field.

As you explore your career options, you may want to consider joining one of the 7 practices above if you’re passionate about a particular one. By joining a practice, you are still part of your office cohort and will enjoy the same social and training opportunities as your generalist colleagues, but you will also have a practice community, additional practice-related training, practice mentorship, and priority staffing on relevant practice-specific projects.
