Assad has contributed a treasure trove of compositions and arrangements to the guitar repertoire, with over 300 arrangements alone for the likes of Yo Yo Ma, Gidon Kramer, Dawn Upshaw, the Turtle Island String Quartet, Paquito de Rivera, Luciana Souza, LA Guitar Quartet and many more.
