Talk title: Strong Acid
Abstract: Sulfuric acid weathering restructures fluid flow in carbonate-rich critical zones and contributes an unquantified net flux of CO2 to the atmosphere. This talk will explore the current state of knowledge about sulfuric acid weathering and highlight new understanding about how microorganisms are involved.
