USC Annenberg in collaboration with Common Sense Media presents, Making tech work better: A conversation with Frances Haugen.

Frances Haugen, an acclaimed tech advocate and former Facebook employee, will join Dean Willow Bay and Common Sense Media founder, Jim Steyer, live in the Annenberg Forum. They will discuss the need for accountability and transparency in social media, misinformation in the digital age, and the future of technology. Haugen will share what led to her courageous decision to blow the whistle on Facebook and the role communication played in making sure her voice resonated with the public and policymakers on both sides of the aisle.
