https://dornsife.usc.edu/eri/2024/02/13/lunch-learn-series-making-movements-aligning-organizing-philanthropy-and-research-for-social-change/Making Movements is an engaging panel, from our 'Lunch & Learn' series, moderated by Dr. Leah Gose featuring Sulma Arias, Jennifer Ito, Joseph Tomás McKellar, Dr. Manuel Pastor, and Marc Philpart.
With crises of inequality, multiracial democracy, and climate wracking our nation, how can movements scale up to meet the challenge? What is the infrastructure of power-building and the intra/interstructure of coalition-building needed in these efforts? Together, they’ll explore the ground up, self-aware strategies of organizations building lasting capacities for social change.
It will be at the Doheny Memorial Library (DML 240). Lunch and Parking will be provided.
