The ORSL Christian Life Team is co-sponsoring “Losing Hope? A Discussion of God and the Reality of Suffering”. This will be a timely conversation about the sobering events around us and the tools our worldviews give us to consider meaning and hope in this particular historic moment. Alan Lightman, MIT Professor of the Practice of the Humanities and author of a number of fiction and non-fiction works, will join Alister McGrath, an Oxford scientist and theologian for a robust discussion moderated by Anne Snyder, public intellectual and editor in chief of Comment magazine.
