About this Event
Are you struggling to find the career that is right for you? Are you applying to over 100 jobs a week, and nothing is sticking? Are you tired of hearing "It's all about who you know?"
First and foremost, you are not alone.
Learning to leverage your network is one of the most valuable lessons. Your network will help you understand diverse and maybe unfamiliar career paths while forming relationships to potentially be given the opportunity to start entry level at an organization.
I know what you are thinking. Where do you start building your network? Well, let's talk Recruitment!
The goal of this session is to educate new employees on Recruitment - how to partner with a Recruiter and how Recruiters can educate you to understand the job market and assist in building your connections to increase chances of receiving a job offer. In this session, we will also be discussing what a career in Recruitment looks like to see if this is an avenue you would like to explore and some of our career openings here at LHi Group, a Global Recruitment Firm with our US offices in LA, New York and Austin operating across the technology, renewable energy and life science verticals.
After our informational session, we will have a Q&A panel from our 2020/2021 new starters at LHi Group to have an open discussion on what their career search was like and their thoughts on joining the Recruitment industry. Our panel will consist of our consultants from various backgrounds, job seekers hired during the pandemic, former professional athletes and master's Graduates. Our panel will also consist of more experienced individuals who decided to join a company that more closely aligns with their values or completely switch industries to find happiness and career success in jobs unrelated to their degrees.
