Will Wilkinson is a trained philosopher, contributing opinion writer for the New York Times, and past vice president of the Niskanen Center who has applied his philosophical training throughout his career to issues that are neither neatly right nor left in contemporary American politics. His current work focuses on the challenge of revitalizing liberal democracy in an age of polarizing multicultural urbanization. In this open public lecture sponsored by the Conceptual Foundations of Conflict Project, Wilkinson will speak about the role that urbanization plays in political polarization.
