About this Event
The USC Institute on Inequalities in Global Health invites you to join us for “Learning from Our Histories: Activism in a post-Roe World,” a conversation with Activist and Scholar Loretta J. Ross.
This event, which kicks off the 2022–2023 IIGH Lecture Series, will mobilize us to action by bringing attention to past, present and future issues central to abortion activism in the United States and beyond. This discussion, bridging the local and the global, will focus on the importance of abortion as both a health and a human rights issue prior to the 1973 passage of Roe v. Wade, during the several decades when abortion was legal, and now given the recent Supreme Court decision.
The Zoom link will be emailed to registered attendees. Please register at https://events.humanitix.com/learning-from-our-histories-activism-in-a-post-roe-world.
