Latino voters were once thought to be firmly in the Democratic corner. The 2024 election proved otherwise, as support fell from a commanding 25-point margin under Joe Biden to a razor-thin 3-point edge for Kamala Harris. These voters are up for grabs, splitting tickets and reshaping battlegrounds in ways that could decide who controls Congress in 2026.

The USC Center for the Political Future invites you to a virtual conversation about what’s driving these shifts and what both parties keep getting wrong about the fastest-growing voting bloc in the country. With 2026 around the corner, this panel looks at what’s next to come with Latino voters.

Panelists Include:

  • Mike Murphy (moderator) - Co-Director, USC Dornsife Center for the Political Future
  • Mike Madrid - Principal, Grassroots Lab; Co-Founder, Lincoln Project; Former Political Director, California Republican Party
  • Chuck Rocha - President and Founder, Solidarity Strategies; Founder, Nuestro PAC & CAMPEONES PAC; Democratic Campaign Strategist
