DESCRIPTION:
*This trip is for current USC students only. You must use the provided transportation to participate. Space is limited and advance registration is required. RSVP beginning Tuesday, September 12, at 9 a.m. Check-in for the event will begin at 9:30 a.m. on campus. Buses will depart at 10 a.m. and return to campus at 2:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided at the end of the walking tour.

The bustling and rapidly changing Arts District in downtown L.A. is experiencing a mural and graffiti-art boom of epic proportions. In a two-mile walking tour, a knowledgeable local artist will offer history and insight, as well as access to secret spots most people will never have a chance to see. You might even glimpse an artist at work. The tour will stop at several unique locations, including the all-new Arts District Co-op. If you’ve never been to the Arts District (or just haven’t been lately), you’ll be amazed at the massive murals and hidden gems that would be easy to miss in a quick car trip. After the tour, you can relax and soak in the neighborhood atmosphere with a lunch provided by the Bohemia food truck. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes!
