JEP Day - The Start of the Joint Educational Project's 50th Anniversary Year

More than three decades ago, January 14 was declared  "JEP Day" by Los Angeles Mayor Tom Bradley. This JEP Day is especially meaningful as today officially kicks off the Joint Educational Project’s 50th Anniversary celebration! 

What started in 1972 with Barbara Seaver Gardner’s vision to unite people from the community and USC around the common goal of achieving high-quality education for both USC students and the children in the surrounding campus community has since transformed the lives of more than 100,000 USC students and community members—making JEP one of the largest and oldest service-learning institutions in the nation.
