About the Exhibition

“Enamorado Con lo Divino” is a body of fashion and portrait

photography exploring queer bodies and the tension between them and

both Catholicism and Latinidad.This exhibition is about finding the

beauty in diviness by deconstructing different identities that don't

allow space to grow. Highlighting the freedom and solace that can be

found in the coexistence of all three. My goal is to create a safe

space for Queer people to feel validated and see all parts of their

experience represented. By taking these rigid structures of

Catholicism and Latinidad and merging it with the possibilities of

freedom, expression y amor.
