Tom Knechtel received his MFA and BFA from the California Institute of the Arts and began teaching art history in 1981. He joined ArtCenter in 1995 and became full-time in 2002, teaching in both the Fine Art and Illustration programs. Knechtel has been in numerous solo and groups exhibitions such as Weatherspoon Art Gallery in North Carolina, The Contemporary Art Museum, Honolulu, The Drawing Center, New York, The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, Connecticut, Pomona College Museum of Art, Claremont, The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles. among many more. His work is in the permanent collections of The Berardo Collection, Sintra Museum of Modern Art, Portugal, The Museum of Modern Art, New York, The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, The Hammer Museum, Los Angeles, The Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, the Orange County Museum of Art and The Contemporary Museum, Honolulu.
Dan McCleary is an artist, and founder, and executive director of Art Division, a nonprofit organization offering professional arts training and academic and career support to young adults in the underserved MacArthur Park community in Los Angeles.McCleary is known for Modernist images of everyday objects and genre, painting, drawing, printmaking. His work has been in various solo and group exhibitions including Craig Krull Gallery, Santa Monica, Texas Gallery, Houston Taxes, Georgia State College and University, Georgia, San Diego Academy of Art, San Diego, CA, James Graham and Sons, New York, Rebecca Ibel Gallery, Columbus Ohio among many more. His work is also included in the permanent collection of the Santa Barbara Museum of Art, Santa Barbara, CA, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Los Angeles, CA, Harvard Art Museum, Cambridge, MA, The Hammer Museum, Los Angeles, CA among more
