DESCRIPTION:Join USC Hillel\, USC Casden Institute\, and the USC Shoah Foun
dation for a panel discussion in honor of International Holocaust Remembra
nce Day. More than 75 years after the end of the Holocaust\, the genocide
of European Jewry remains a touchpoint for modern history\, international
law\, and numerous other fields of study. As we face the passing of the ge
neration of the direct witnesses\, and confront new challenges with rising
antisemitism\, the landscape of Holocaust memory is changing. How can the
second and third generation - and beyond - ensure the preservation and re
levance of Holocaust memory in a world without direct witnesses? \n\n \n\n
The panel will feature speakers as well as insights from Holocaust survivo
r testimony\, and will be moderated by Dave Cohn\, Allen & Ruth Ziegler Ex
 ecutive Director\, USC Hillel.\n\n \n\nFeatured speakers:\n\nDr. Jennifer
Rodgers\, USC Shoah Foundation Director of Academic Programs\n\nDr. Steve
Ross\, Director of USC Casden Center for Jewish Life and son of Holocaust
 survivors\n\nHillel student leaders
