The USC Transpacific Research Cluster and Africana Research Cluster, housed in the department of American Studies & Ethnicity and sponsored by ASE Commons, will be hosting Prof. Tao Leigh Goffe, assistant professor in the Department of Africana Studies and Program in Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Cornell University. She will be giving a talk entitled "History's Emulsion: Hysteria, Surface, and Sexuality in the Black Pacific" on February 17th at 2:00 pm PST.
