The future of transportation needs you! Join the 24 hour hackathon to help define the integration of technology and the built environment. How do you shape the city's transportation systems to make them more safe, sustainable, accessible and equitable for all?

Southern California is seeing a transportation renaissance with increased focus on: capital projects, mobility services, inclusivity and environmental considerations. At the same time, Los Angeles has the worst traffic worldwide. The average LA commuter spent over 100 hours sitting in traffic last year. This costs each driver $2,408 annually or aggregated, $9.7 billion city wide.** These are huge topics.

The goal is to iterate on solutions that help better connect people to the places they love. This event will bring together designers, analysts and engineers to work on new technologies that bridge the embedded transportation and mobile worlds. Work with experts from moovel, Mercedes-Benz and Daimler DigitalLife Strategy. Create your ideas with some of the latest IoT hardware and access to transit centric backend systems. This event will supply you with an initial tool kit and mentorship to help jump-start ideas.
