 ook Club! \n\nWe invite you to read Emergent Strategy: Shaping Change\, Ch
 anging Worlds\, by adrienne maree brown\, and then join us on August 27 to
  discuss Brown’s vision and consider ways to implement her ideas – and
  your own!\n\nProf. Karen Tongson\, incoming chair for the USC Dornsife De
 partment of Gender and Sexuality Studies\, and Madin Lopez\, Black and Lat
 inx genderqueer hairstylist who founded ProjectQ in 2012\, will be leading
  the discussion. Project Q is an LA-based non-profit that provides free ha
 ircuts and self-empowerment workshops to LGBTQIA+ youth of color experienc
 ing homelessness. ProjectQ uses hair as a form of social justice\, and sel
 f care as an access point to dignity. \n\nZoom link will be shared with re
 gistered attendees on the day of the event. You must register in order to
