"Greetings from East L.A." is an art, design, and urban planning project with students at East Los Angeles Renaissance Academy at Esteban E. Torres High School. Led by Public Matters with USC Price student interns, the project explores, documents and interprets the value and values that the ELARA students assign to people and places in East L.A.

In response to proposed East LA traffic safety changes in LA County's Vision Zero Action Plan, students examined five unsafe East LA corridors, by creating:

•    Zines that highlight local, personal narratives, and perspectives in each corridor
•    Maps of traffic safety incidents and conditions
•    Recommendations for greater traffic safety

Join the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy, Public Matters, and the East Los Angeles Renaissance Academy for an engaging morning in the USC Price Franklin Courtyard. There will be plenty of time to talk with students about the five corridors and their recommendations.
