Title: An Introduction to Legendrian contact homology
Abstract: Legendrian contact homology is a Floer-theoretic invariant of Legendrian knots, a class of knots in contact 3-manifolds. In this talk, we will begin with a brief review of contact manifolds, Legendrian knots, and their classical invariants. We will then introduce Legendrian contact homology for Legendrian knots in \mathbb{R}^3, focusing on both its combinatorial definition and its geometric motivation from Floer homology.
