Goldman Sachs Recruiting - Exploring Control, Finance, and Operating Series

Goldman Sachs invites you to attend our Exploring the Control, Finance, and Operating Functions of GS series! The goal of this series is to demystify how Control, Finance, and Operating divisions contribute to the success of Goldman Sachs as well as discuss the vast amount of career opportunities these divisions offer. Whether you study business, liberal arts, or anything in between, there is a place for you within the Control, Finance, and Operating divisions.

The series will be comprised of multiple events in the upcoming weeks. Each event will be held virtually and must be registered for in advance.  Control, Finance, and Operating Divisional Overviews | October 6th, 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM PST
A panel of Goldman Sachs employees will explain the differences between revenue vs. non-revenue roles, how they both contribute to the firm goals and a day in the life at the firm.

 

Technology in the Firm | October 7th, 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM PST
Describes the different types of technology roles and backgrounds that are utilized at Goldman Sachs.

 

  Non-Traditional Backgrounds in Financial Services | October 8th, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM PST
A panel of Goldman Sachs employees will share why a non-financial background is beneficial to the firm.

 

Resume Review and Virtual Interview Tips | October 12th, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM PST
A chance to learn the best practices for resumes as well as go over virtual interview tips and tricks for applications.

 

Networking | October 15th, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM PST
This event will give students the opportunity to network with Goldman Sachs employees to learn more about the day to day at Goldman Sachs and how to be successful at the firm.
