German actress and first-time director Karoline Herfurth has assembled a plethora of highly popular talents (Friedrich Mücke, Nora Tschirner, Frederick Lau and Friederike Kempter) to join her in the romantic comedy SMS für Dich, in which she also plays the female lead. In the movie, a young woman can’t cope with the loss of her one true love. It has already been two years since her boyfriend died in a car crash, but she still sends text messages to his mobile phone. However, she has no idea that this number has been given to a sports journalist who has got stuck in a dysfunctional relationship. The story is based on the novel of the same name by Sofie Cramer.
