We are celebrating the acquisition of the Anita M. Caspary Archive by USC Libraries. Two
panels look at how we remember women who sought to reenvision the Catholic church
despite its attempts to repress them. The first panel addresses the task of preserving women’s
voices and the second explores the legacy of two extraordinary women, Sister Anita M.
Caspary IHM in twentieth-century America and the medieval Beguine Hadewijch of Brabant.
