Join us in experimenting with art materials and thinking like a scientist, inspired by the special exhibition, Cai Guo-Qiang: A Material Odyssey. Explore using traditional mediums in unusual ways, experience a special opera performance highlighting the science of sound, learn about the exhibition from our student educators, listen to storytime, and more! This program is FREE and open to all ages.

11:00am - 3:00pm - Altadena Libraries Curiosity Connection Mobile 

12:00pm - Storytime 

12:30pm - Spotlight Talk with USC Museums Student Educators 

1:00pm  - Opera performance by Xiao-Ling Wang 

2:30pm - Spotlight Talk with USC Museums Student Educators 

 

Timed tickets required for entrance into the exhibition. 60 minute time slots offered. Reservations are highly recommended.

 

Limited same-day tickets are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. 

 

A ticket to Cai: Guo-Qiang: A Material Odyssey includes access to all galleries and activities. Your ticket gives you access to enter the exhibition at your reserved time, but you may enter the museum for activities prior to your reserved time.
