Griffith Company is hosting a career and leadership development virtual event for Engineering and Construction Management students on Friday, April 11th“The Griffith Career & Leadership Construction Project” will be a highly interactive virtual event intended to help students to:

  • Build their potential to lead now and in the future.
  • Craft a personal brand that employers will want to invest in.
  • Maximize this upcoming summer whether they have an internship or not.
  • Enhance their preparation for construction careers through interactions with young professionals.

This event will be held via Zoom from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm and will consist of a series of 4 virtual sessions.

“The Griffith Career & Leadership Construction Project” (April 11th)

A virtual and highly interactive event to build the career and leadership potential of Engineering and Construction Management students. Through a series of 4 independent, but related sessions, students will be coached on how to develop their potential to lead now, how to craft a personal brand that employers will invest in, and how to have a summer of learning, skill development and industry contribution whether they have an internship or not.

Date/Time

  • Friday, April 11th from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm.

Students are not obligated to attend the full time – they can simply opt into whichever of the sessions (listed below) they are available to attend.

The 4 Virtual Sessions

  • 1:00 pm – 1:50 pm (Paving a Career Journey for Success: Q&A with Young Construction Professionals).
  • 2:00 pm – 2:50 pm (Engineering Your Brand for Employer Investment).
  • 3:00 pm – 3:50 pm (Leadership YOU: Tapping Your Potential to Positively Influence Outcomes and Others).
  • 4:00 pm – 4:50 pm (Building Your Value this Summer: Internship or Not).
