The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) Legal Division invites you to learn about the Honors Attorney Program and the Legal Intern Program. We recruit and select from a pool of highly qualified applicants who have demonstrated strong critical thinking and analytical skills, the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, the ability to work both independently and in teams, and an interest in public service.

For current law school 1L and 2L students, we have the Legal Intern Program. A vacancy announcement located in Headquarters (Washington, DC) for Fall semester onboarding to be announced end of August/early September.

For current law school students in their final year of law school, law school graduates in a post-grad program, or recently graduated judicial clerks, we have the Honors Attorney Program. The Honors Attorney Program currently has two vacancy announcements open until September 18th, Law Clerk and Attorney-Adviser:

• LAW CLERK - The Law Clerk positions are open for individuals who are not admitted to the bar upon joining the FDIC and are currently in their final year of law school or full-time graduate students in the final year of study which began immediately following law school. Bar membership must be acquired within 14 months of appointment, or the appointment terminates.

• ATTORNEY-ADVISER - The Attorney-Adviser positions are open for individuals who have passed the bar and been admitted to the bar of the highest court of a state or the District of Columbia upon joining the FDIC.

We invite you to engage with current Honors Attorney Program participants and Legal Division employees; hear program and application details and recommendations; and gain answers to any questions you may have about the FDIC and our student programs. We look forward to connecting with students and Career Service Office personnel Wed, Aug 16, 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM (EDT)!

We look forward to having you attend the event!
