Internship experiences offer unique and valuable opportunities to enhance undergraduate studies by gaining real-world experience and problem-solving skills.  This event features a panel of three GeoDesign majors: Eliza Gutierrez-Dewar, Joanna Wang, and Rich Windisch.  Eliza and Joanna completed summer internship programs at Esri where Eliza worked on the Software Products, Learn ArcGIS team while Joanna served as a member of the GeoPlanner team.  Rich interned at the NASA Jet Propulsion Lab (JPL) where he worked on the UAVSAR and GeoGateway project.  Panelists will share their 2017 summer experience, program requirements, benefits, and general timelines for engaging in these activities.  This presentation will help inform students interested in gaining valuable internship experience.
