Please join Dean Catherine Quinlan and the Friends of the USC Libraries for a celebration of the most important living classical composer from Cuba, Aurelio de la Vega. A discussion with de la Vega, documentary filmmaker Camilo Vila, and film editor Kert Vander Meulen will precede a screening of Aurelio: Rebel with a Cause. At the reception following the discussion and screening, the USC Libraries are proud to rededicate a bust, donated by Yolanda Lorente, of famous 19th-century Cuban patriot and poet Jose Martí.
