Experience a dynamic and powerful performance by acclaimed artist and one of the original organizers of Black Lives Matter, Funmilola Fagbamila. Presented live and online, this session will include a Q&A with the artist and an introduction to USC Visions and Voices, the university’s unparalleled arts and humanities initiative. Don't miss this exclusive opportunity to hear directly from this incredible artist while learning about one of the university’s most valuable programs.

Following the performance, join us for an interactive session with Visions and Voices staff and students. This session will provide incoming families with an opportunity to connect with other students and learn how to get more involved with our program.

Bio:
Funmilola Fagbamila
is a Nigerian American activist, artist, playwright, and professor of Pan African Studies at California State University, Los Angeles. Fagbamila has received awards and honors from the U.S. Congress, the Institute on Inequality and Democracy at UCLA Luskin, Amplify Africa, and the Black Community, Clergy, and Labor Alliance.
