Dr. Judith McCool is an Associate Professor at the School of Population Health, University of Auckland. Current research examines the process of adapted mobile health initiatives for low resourced settings.
Dr. Robyn Whittaker is an Associate Professor at the National Institute for Health Innovation, University of Auckland, where she co-leads the eHealth/mHealth research team. Her research interests are in mHealth particularly designing and trialing interventions to be delivered to people via their mobile phones.
Dr. Rosie Dobson is a Research Fellow and Health Psychologist at the National Institute for Health Innovation, University of Auckland. Current research looks at the use of mobile phones to deliver health behavior change interventions.
Lessons learned from three distinctive mHealth interventions will be described followed by discussion about the challenges and opportunities of mobile based interventions for behavior and social change.
