Philippa Ovenden (Pontifical Institute of Mediaeval Studies, University of Toronto) is a music historian specializing in the intellectual and performance histories of music in the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries. She will deliver a lecture titled "Symbolism and Memory in Fourteeth-Century Music Theory" to the Early Music Musicology Forum.
