The USC-Huntington Early Modern Studies Institute American Origins seminar will launch its 2021-2022 program IN PERSON with a chapter from Keith Pluymers's new book, No Wood, No Kingdom: Political Ecology in the English Atlantic. No Wood is a particularly interesting volume because it deals with the largely pre-fossil fuel world.
