On October 19, the USC-Huntington Early Modern Studies Institute Renaissance Literature Seminar meets with Roland Greene, Mark Pigott KBE Professor, Anthony P. Meier Family Professor of the Humanities, Professor of English and Comparative Literature, and Director of the Humanities Center. Professor Greene's research centers on the early modern literatures of England, Latin Europe, and the transatlantic world, and on poetry and poetics from the Renaissance to the present. His talk for EMSI seminar is titled "Making Poems and Knowledge in 1663: Juan Caramuel's Metametrica."
