The USC-Huntington Early Modern Studies Institute Renaissance Literature Seminar will meet with Katarzyna Lecky, Surtz Associate Professor of English at Loyola University, Chicago, on Saturday, September 20. Professor Lecky's research focuses on cheap printed materials as a way to access popular forms of intellectual history in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. Her paper is titled "'Blotted Out:' Defacing Archives in London and Providence Island."
