The USC-Huntington Early Modern Studies Institute European History Seminar will host a meeting with Kathy Stuart, Associate Professor of History at the University of California, Davis, on Friday, November 21. 

 

Professor Stuart is a social and cultural historian of early modern Germany. Her research focuses on crime, deviance, and marginality. Her EMSI seminar paper title is "The Devil's Bath: Suicide by Proxy and the History of Emotions in Seventeenth- and Eighteenth-Century Germany."
