The USC-Huntington Early Modern Studies Institute British History Seminar will host a meeting with Karen Harvey, Professor of Cultural History and Deputy Head of the School of History and Cultures at the University of Birmingham, on September 27.

 

Professor Harvey's research focuses on the body and sexuality, masculinity, and material culture in the British long eighteenth century. She also has expertise in digital humanities and public engagement projects. Her paper is titled "Politics Under Cover: Writing a New History of the Eighteenth-Century British Body."
